Happy Bloom

A 5” x 7” Original Watercolor Painting
This is a large bloom inspired by the beautiful flowers created by Courtney Khail http://www.instragram.com/courtneykhail

I used a fine-tipped Sharpie to outline the bloom petals.

The background is a light yellow wash…a tiny amount peaking out from behind the beautiful bloom.

Paper:

140 lb. Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper.

Colors:

Shades of Green, Pink, Orange, Purple, and Gold.
